In short, this is a no win no fee recruitment model. It comes with minimal risk to the client but no guarantees that the role will be filled; clients pay once I have completed the process to your satisfaction. If you are looking for a guaranteed hire then a retained search may suit you better.

Retained recruitment


A retained search involves a commitment from both the client and myself. Using this search method I would ask that I be your exclusive partner in the candidate search and in turn I guarantee to work with you until the role is filled to your satisfaction. This method is suitable whether you have single or multiple roles needing filled.

Process

For both search methods I will take an initial brief from you over the phone and then arrange to visit your business; I find it useful to visit the venues potential candidates will be working at to help me get a feel for the business. Here we can meet face to face and really dig deep into exactly what your ideal candidate spec looks like.


Once I have a clear understanding of what you need we can agree which recruitment search model is right for you before I go away and do what I do best - finding you great candidates!


That roadmap look like this:


  • Using my network and talent-bank to speak with candidates who match both the skill-set and behavioural traits you're looking for in your hiring process.
  • I will fully manage the recruitment marketing process including getting your vacancy on sector specific recruitment sites.
  • The use of digital/social media to increase the geographical reach of getting your vacancy in front of the right people in the right area.
  • A maximum two-stage interview process before shortlisting candidates for the client final interview. Within this two-stage process a minimum of one face-to-face interview is included.
  • Assessing candidate's skills and employment history through the lens of my extensive operations background, and with over 20-years hands-on experience of matching the right candidates to the right business.
  • I will produce a recruitment report for you in which I will detail the strengths of each of my shortlisted candidates in-line with your role specifications.
  • Acting as a liaison between yourself and the candidate to arrange interviews; and when we get to the job offer stage, I can help to negotiate final terms for you.
  • Seeking candidate references.
